Stac is seeking an experienced Conveyor Sales Engineer to drive sales and technical development of conveyor system projects in manufacturing and distribution environments. This role combines deep conveyor applications expertise with proposal development, technical design, customer relationship management, and post-sale project support.

As a Conveyor Sales Engineer, you will work closely with customers from concept through proposal, design, and integration phases — playing a key role in discovering opportunities, developing solutions, and ensuring successful project outcomes. You will collaborate with internal engineering, controls, and project management teams to deliver complete material handling solutions that exceed customer expectations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support our outside sales team basic quotation activities. 

    • Track quotations, assist with follow up, and track success. 

    • Assist with vendor orders, order tracking, order delays, change orders, and keeping orders on time. 

  • Assist with marketing strategies and lead development with a focus on social media data utilization. 

  • Assist with strengthening vendor relationships. 

  • Oversee freight program including building stronger relationships and working toward a more robust freight program. 

  • Assist in developing and executing sales strategies to achieve sales targets. 

  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the products and services we offer. 

  • Collaborate and help management develop process improvements around sales-related administrative activities.   

  • Work within our systems and collaborate with team members to continue to develop and align its capabilities within our growing business needs. 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS + EXPERIENCE:

  • 3+ years in the material handling industry or commensurate sales experience and/or sales administration. 

  • High energy / Positive attitude. 

  • Strong decision and leadership skills. 

  • Excellent interpersonal abilities with customers.  

  • Strong aptitude in customer service and selling techniques. 

  • Work schedule flexibility. 

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent business experience strongly preferred.  

  • Strong technical writing skills. 

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other internet-based platforms. 

  • Basic knowledge and understanding of general material handling solutions. 

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills. 

  • Self-Motivated with ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively. 

  • Employment Location will be onsite.
